I'm trying to make sure Win 10 will be satisfied with the drivers installed for various devices on my computer... And if I have to update drivers, should I do it before or after the Win 10 upgrade?

Device Manager says there are no driver files loaded for "this device," but there's a driver listed! What's that all about? (Headphones, speakers...)

Does my "sound card" have a driver?
My sound is on the mobo. Donno if it's a card or a chip...
Is there a driver for it?

Does it have to be updated for Windows 10?

Whatever this is, (and I suspect it's the chip on the mobo), why is there a driver listed for it but Device Manager says no driver is loaded or required?

What about my keyboard and mouse?

I expect if my printer doesn't work after Win 10 is installed, I can try fixing that later. But I'll need my monitor, keyboard, mouse, headphones and speakers.

It's enough that I'm going to try the in-place upgrade without be able to see the screen! I need the windows magnifier, (which will disappes

All of those devices require drivers. Windows 10 will likely detect them all and install drivers during the installation process. Any not loaded will require you to locate and download the drivers for manual installation.

What are the specs for your system?

Windows will Install default generic versions of drivers for your motherboard. You should always go to your motherboard vendor and pick up the custom drivers for your motherboard. Only the motherboard vendor will know the exact chip versions and hardware decisions they used in the motherboard design. Some designs will require a custom driver (even though it has the same hardware name and driver name)

I have Macrium Reflect. So should I choose "IMAGE THIS DISK?"

And why does my external disk look totally full in Macrium?

Yup! If you need help, follow the user guide http://knowledgebase.macrium.com/display/KNOW/Creating+a+backup+image+of+your+computer%2C+drive+or+partitions

If you have any encryption enabled that could be why.

Win 10 will likely detect and install drivers for all of those devices. Once Win 10 completes its installation, I would manually update the Nvidia GPU drivers (directly from NVidia.com) and Intel chipset drivers (from support.intel.com), at a minimum.

I have Macrium Reflect on my screen right now and I'm puzzled as to why my external drive, (1TB G-Drive), appears to be full.... and it says, "UNFORMATTED PRIMARY." But in Computer Management, DISK MANAGEMENT, it says, HEALTHY PRIMARY. Did something get corrupted after I formatted the drive so it would work with Windows. (Out of the box, it's a Mac drive.)

OK, please remember that my brain doesn't work right. So "silly questions" is my middle name. :)

Can someone give me a literal step by step on what I have to do to download Win 10 to installation media? I have a 1TB external drive, and a 30GB thumb drive. It looks like I'm gonna have to do this myself. There's nobody coming here to do it for me. And time is short!
