Updating Drivers & Tools - Gryphon z87

Solution
Basically, you're on the right track.

No need to install multiple drivers for the same item, Like SATA. Just look at the dates on the drivers and install the latest one. No need to install the VGA driver since you are using discrete graphics cards.

If this is a new build and you have just installed what was on the CD that came with your MB, then you'll prolly need a lot of them.

Go into Device Mgr and select an item, like Audio, and double click on your Audio device. Go to the Driver tab and check the date and version of the driver. Compare this to Asus website and see which is newer. If your existing driver(s) is out of date D/L and install the later driver.

The build isn't super new, I had it up to date about a month ago but that was for win7.
Now I've just upgraded to win8.1 and a second GPU in crossfire.
So I figured I would have to update everything, but the basics should still be installed, right?

Would I have to run driversweeper? Would it be easier/safer to just run it anyway? Does driversweeper even dive that deep into mobo drivers?
Even if it was extra effort, just to double check that it is all installed correctly?

Lets say I run driversweeper and it does its thing.
Then I go to the Asus site. I would want to install the following versions of drivers from said subfolders.
Am I correct here or am I a moron?

BIOS
Version 1707

CHIPSET
All chipsets shown.

AUDIO
Version 6.0.1.7023 (2013.10.15 update)

VGA
Version 10.18.10.3262
Version 9.18.10.3262

LAN
Version 18.5.54.0 (2013.10.14 update)

SATA
Version 4.2.40.2357
Version 3.0.0.1056
Version 12.8.0.1016 (2013.09.30 update)

UTILITIES
Im not really sure what I would need/use here, apart from CPU-z which is basically the same as GPU Tweak isn't it?
Any suggestions?
