Updating firmware suggestion.

So the Netgear WNDR4500v2 just received a new firmware update. I don't know if there is a point to updating it. All the patch notes say are Updated Firmware for compliance to the new regulatory standard.
What does that even mean?

It probably means that Netgear has limited the maximum transmit power to comply with FCC regulations. Asus did it a while ago.
