Hi everyone!

I’m looking to use a 2011 Lenovo H420, machine type 7752, for streaming purposes. I’m going to be adding 4GB of RAM to the already 4GB in it. I want install a graphics card and was steered towards a GT 630 or 730 and I don’t know a thing about this stuff...lol.

Two things:
  1. Is there a brand name I should lean towards with the graphics card?
  2. Should I update the CPU as well?

Solution
Mobile games through a capture card and sometimes desktop
I see, then mostly the pc will be for the stream itself, and not any heavy duty work.

I suggest going with a 750 ti, or a gt 1030. Those gt 730 and gt 630 might be say, 30% cheaper, but sadly they are not 30% not as good.
They are say, 70% not as good.
So the 750ti or 1030 are better value.

From what I’m researching, I only have 180 watts and I don’t believe this can run those with what I have.
