Updating graphic card

hi i have an inspiron 530, core 2 duo 2.53ghz, 2gb ram, 320gb hard drive and ocz 600w psu and i wanted to know if i can run a pny 9800gt i called up dell once they said you can i called again to make sure they said no so im confused, i just want to know if i can support this card without and problems

Well...tell me your procesor model name, your operating system, and if possible a link to your actual computer so I can see technical specs of it on a website if possible.

i thinks it e7200 and im running on vista 32bit operating system

Not familiar with the model but on a 600 watt PSU then as long as it fits in the case then yes you can run it.

Yeah, you'll be fine. The OCZ is o.k for a single card. You may want to spend a little more to get a GTS250/9800GTX/GTX+ as they are rather cheap now and considerably faster.

The Radeon 4850 is also at an excellent price (starting around $110) now so it's usually a better deal than the GTS250 it competes against. While I would prefer the 4850 the choice between that and the GTS250/9800GTX/GTX+ just depends on what games you play (and I guess which you can get a better deal on )
