Updating Graphics Card

Hey everyone, I have an Invidia Card and I was updating my driver for it when I saw a text while installing that said uninstalling driver. Why would it say uninstall if was installing a new driver? Thanks

because it has to uninstall the old one first

I wouldn't be too worried about it. It usually has to Uninstall drives to install new ones since the data within needs to be changed. As long as when the installation is complete you end up with the latest drivers, you did exactly what you needed.
