updating hdd from gateway to hp

i recently had a gateway mc7803u that burnt out in a power surge. I switched the hdd into an hp elitebook 8440w, but it still says gateway when it starts and in the system information. How do I get it to update to say hp?

Is the laptop even booting up?
You will need to perform a clean OS installation, since the OS was installed on another computer.

Its booting just fine it's mainly on a cosmetic level. Thanks for the info!
