Updating my GPU turned my screen into a rainbow?

Hello! I just updated my Graphics Card for the first time and it was loading and everything seemed normal and then my screen kind of went black and then a bright colored screen came up with flashing colors. I was wondering if I should try to update my GPU again or not "mess around" with it anymore.

what your full system spec include make and model of the psu.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHz ; 64-bit Operating system, x64-based processor ; Windows 10 ; 8.00 GB (7.81 GB usable) ; 1TB Hard Drive ; 8GB DDR3 Memory ; Maximum Power Supply Wattage 300 W. My computer is called a ATC-605-UB11. I'm looking to actually buy a gaming computer but just wondering for right now.

You mean updating your integrated intel gpu driver? are you sure it wasn't the driver doing a screen test?
