Hi there!

I was given this old Windows XP computer and I wanted to update the BIOS. The thing is, I cannot find the upgrade.
My BIOS is an IBM 2akt34aus and it is dated back to 11/21/2003.
Thank you for reading, I really appreciate it.

Best wishes,
LissLiss

you have to google the model of the pc not the bios info. looking at the bios info you posted i found this link to some of the models that use that bios file.
http://download.lenovo.com/sims/tcsim/8183/8183main.htm
then looking at the top the a50p that was the only bios for the pc. from august 2005.
back then cpu and hard drives were not changing as fasts as they are today. back then most pc went end of life with the stock bios.

I looked at the list that worked for my model number. I had two that matched. M50 for 8185 (because the Access IBM software on my computer says that my model is 8185XX3) and S50 for 8183 (because the simulator said my model was 81832CU).
Am I correct or not? What should I do from here.

(Update)

I just found out that my computer is a refurbished Leno (IBM) ThinkCentre 8185-D2U.

This would be what I need, correct? http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?LegacyDocID=MIGR-51058
