Hello one and all,
One question please, I am a 72 year old site follower, have had PCs since they first came out. My original old Hobby was / is, Amateur Radio. It was great - especially when making Home made gadgets etc. Solering was then no problem. Recently had a few old age medical problems and one is the Right hand no longer stable. shakes as though I was playing a ruddy guitar. One old 3.5 IDE HDD Extensions stopped working because wires broke and cannot re-solder such. I wondered therefore is it is possible for someone to please recommend 1 new Extension / cloning device that I could use to transer (A) old 3.5 info, photos etc. to a larger Maxtor HDD and also Clone from IDE HDD to a similar type, but can also be used to update a few things to my new SATA drives. I have seen one or two Intech 2 DOC extension USBs etc. But would hate to try and simply insert the old 3.5 IDE HDD into a 2 doc cloning device and maybe damage the rear pins with the shaking hand I mentioned. Sorry for rambling, but the Old Age freak out is not so enjoyable after all. Thanks you and will do my best to remain a Site reader, .

Any of the IDE to USB docks will have the same connection type. If you are worried about damaging something, you must know people that can plug in a drive for you. Maybe a young kid that is only 68 or something :)
