Updating on doggy internet?

Hey,
So today my computer updated and I had a doggy internet connection today(something to do with the area) how bad is this?

Do you mean doggy or dodgy? The problem that you might face is that the OS's update may be wonky/corrupt. If that doesn't take precedence then you've got nothing to worry about.

How bad is the connection? How can you tell if it's good or bad?

Can you explain "something to do with the area"? Do you mean that you are aware of some local ISP problem?

ISP service may have been restored but may not be up to full performance yet. May get back to full performance as final repairs and corrective reconfigurations are made.

Likewise you may need to check your router and network to ensure that everything is properly configured correctly and allow some time for everything to get back to normal.

We just had a two hour outage in our neighborhood. Reasons unknown and probably will not be known.
