It works in the LG 49SM8200PLA.BEUYLJP TV, the YouTube website but it does not want to load, for example the website https://dlive.tv.
If I were to update the firmware for this TV, would the firmware include a new version of the web browser?
Is this the website for the LG 49SM8200PLA.BEUYLJP TV https://www.lg.com/uk/support/product-support/cs-49SM8200PLA.AEK
The link after the dot is AEK but I have the BEUYLJP model.
Is it possible to install Android on this TV?
Is Android built-in to the TV an advantage or disadvantage?
Is there a big risk of uploading new firmware to the TV that something will go wrong and the TV will not turn on?
Will I have to enter all settings again after uploading new firmware to the TV?
Shouldn't the firmware be updated unnecessarily in TVs, just like updating the BIOS in computers?
Is it a modern TV or an old model?
Is 4K resolution on TV a high resolution these days?

Unless whatever updates the manufacturer provides has a newer/different browser, no you cannot.

And you can't just "install Android". TVs don't have nearly the same functionality as a PC.
