Upgrade 2007 Mac Pro 2,1

I have an old mac pro 2,1 with the 2 x 3.0 GHz xeon 5365 processors. its working great now, but in the near future i would like upgrade to the newer i7 quad cores. I do a lot of renderings for school so the processor power would be great. Will the motherboard be able to handle the newer CPU's?

No, it won't. You would have to replace the motherboard ass well.
