The 1060 probably used for mining.

I would like to upgrade just for future games coming out like RRD2 or Fallout 76. I have a regular 27 inch display which won't be upgraded in many years, so no 4k or nothing.

My CPU is i7 860 which I should also upgrade. I only play overwatch and the occasional triple A.

The 130 price is because I would sell mine for 80€

Would you upgrade or wait till those new games come out and save for new 2060 and such?

Thank you for your time.

I'd hold off, especially if your 280X is good enough for you to hold off for the newer GPU's. Also personally the price, IMHO, is too good to be true and if it was used for mining you have no idea how long it will last.

Your CPU is below the minimum requirement but if I were you I'd sign up for the beta (check Bethesda website) and see if you can try it out before buying it. In the meantime I'd save up.

I would always advise against cards used for mining - no telling how long they have run and at what temperatures, yes maybe a good deal can be had but the risk is higher than someone clocked and cooked the card to hell already.

I would save and wait as well. There's reported overstock of 10 series and the next 11/20 series is incoming soon according to various rumors - this could potentially lead to a shift in price points in your favor.

That CPU will be an issue down the road as it's aged about 10 years and will be an expensive upgrade new cpu + new mobo + new ram. I would think about upgrading to someone more recent.

So for 130 you would buy it?

In Spain all the 1060 6gb are selling from around 200-230.

That's a 150 -120 investment and with caution you can get one that hasn't been used for mining...

Would you then buy?

Engineer5261 In reallity I don't need it, it's just the opportunity to sell my current card has come.

WildCard999 the thing is with this ram prices I don't want to invest yet on a full upgrade. I have been looking for 4690k~2500k options for for around 150€ so it would be a ~300€ investment with the graphic card to impulse my capabilities for the next 3 years or so.

Whaddya think?

Thank you for your answers!

I think I'll buy the card and then upgrade the components, so as you both helped me out equally I can't pick the best answer, but greatly appreciate your time.

Thanks.
