Hello.

The question is, I think to upgrade to 3700x. Please tell me if it makes sense? Will there be an increase? Feels like something? Yes, and is it worth it?

My configuration:

Monitor: LG 27UK650 3840x2160p 60hz (60 fps lock all the time, for smooth and no tearing.)
CPU: 4790K OC 4.7 GHz, Cache 4.5 GHz
RAM: 16GB 2133 Mhz CL11
Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS RANGER Z97
GPU: Palit GTX 1080Ti Gamerock PE

If you do go to a Ryzen 7 3700x, you will also need to invest in a new board and a new ram kit to be able to work with the new AMD processor. That being said, yes you will see an improvement on your system. DDR4 ram alone will be of a higher bandwidth when compared to the ram you currently have.

In short you will need:
DDR4-3200MHz dual channel ram kit
+
B450 chipset motherboard(or an X570 chipset)
+
Ryzen 7 3700X

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age.

Yes, I already chose which processor, motherboard and RAM. I just don’t know if I will notice the difference in 4K resolution. At the moment, I am not experiencing any problems anywhere in the games at 4790K. So I think it's worth updating. I wanted to ask what others would say. Maybe someone came up with the same question?

At 4K with a 60fps lock I doubt you will see any benefit. The 4790k should be delivering steady 60fps, any you seeing any drops under 60fps due to the cpu?
Well, if only in Battlefield 5 disable future rendering of frames, then in city maps in heavy scenes, with explosions, heavy smoke, sometimes it falls below 60 frames. Maybe somewhere else in Assassins Creed Odyssey, but I didn’t seem to notice.
