Upgrade 5870 to 7970?

Just wondering if this would be a worthy upgrade. I want to play skyrim in eyefinity with smooth frame rates. Thanks

Of course! Wait for 9 Jan to be released! You can see it outperforms GTX 580, and the 5870 is about the same as GTX 560 ti.
