Hi I’m looking to upgrade my pc or thinking of if it’s worth it or not.


I currently have an
i7 4790k
Asus z97 anniversary mobo
16gb ddr3 ram
1tb HDD
And GtX 1080 SC
I do stream on twitch and my pc keeps up for the most part I just want to upgrade for some better stability and future proofing.
I don’t prefer intel over amd or vice versa

Budget Range: 600-800/ After Shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Streaming. Gaming. Web browsing.

Are you buying a monitor: No I have a 144hz already



Parts to Upgrade: everything but GPU and hdd

Do you need to buy OS: No

Parts Preferences: If my OS will still work with an Amd cpu it doesn’t matter I’m not really sure if swapping my hdd from intel to amd would make it not work but just in case

Additional Comments: Airflow, RGB means nothing to me. I play CSGO and Overwatch both at fairly high levels Rank A+ and Top 500.

You could still pair your account with the new system and have activation taken care of. If that issue still prevails, Microsoft is a phone call away to sort out your activation issues.
