I am currently in the process of basically re-doing my entire set-up.
I've been using a 500W Antec [Fairly ancient] PSU for quite some time now.

My current system is basically (In my opinion) a quite low tech budget build consisting of the above mentioned PSU and the following...

MOBO - Asus M5A97 R2.0 [Latest BIOS]
GPU - Asus 2GB Dual Fan HD 7770 [Not Overclocked]
RAM - 16 GB Cosair Vengeance [4x 4GB Sticks]
CPU - AMD FX6300 6-Core Black Edition [Currently Overclocked to 4.3 GHz] [Great temps, Stress tested etc Stable]
HD - 2TB Seagate Hybrid Drive
Cooling - Multiple Cosair fans, 1 Exhaust, 2 Side panel intakes along with a front panel intake.
CPU Cooling - Zalman CNPS5X

So yeah, Basically I'm looking to improve my system for gaming I currently have my eye on a
Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU and a new case to go along with it, Corsair Vengeance Series Black C70 Mid Tower Computer Case.

I'm planning on buying 2 new GPU's for a dual setup, I can't see myself getting a new CPU anytime soon to be honest. The motherboard I'm willing to upgrade to maximize Crossfiring capabilities and I've also been thinking about fitting an SSD as well.

I suppose my main question would be is the PSU I have my eye on a good option for Crossfiring up two decent GPU's? From what I can find online the power output of the Cosair PSU I have my eye on is as follows..
+3.3v @ 25A
+5v @ 25A for 130W across 3.3v and 5v combined.
+12v @ 62A for 744W max
-12v @ 0.8A for 9.6W
+5Vsb @ 3A for 15W

Any advice whatsoever is welcome.
I'm just really looking for a bit of guidance to be honest, I've only built a PC from scratch twice and to be quite frank I'm a novice at best when it comes to picking out parts that will work well together and give me a good solid Gaming PC. I'm not looking to spend a fortune and I live in the UK.

Again, Any help or advice is much appreciated, Thank you.

Your system isn't that bad, but you might not be able to upgrade to a dual GPU setup without upgrading the CPU to a high-end Intel and I would be cautious about using any of the Corsair PSUs... they're all outsourced and most of them aren't very good.

Regarding a new CPU for Dual GPU's is AMD totally out of the question or would an Intel i5/i7 for example basically just maximize the potential? Intel CPU's from what I can find online tend to be quite expensive. Nothing I can't afford just way beyond what I could justify to the missus lol. I'm not a massive gamer or anything basically I just want a nice solid rig for when I am gaming, that's more or less what I'm after.

Regarding the PSU, are there any good ones around for say, Under £100 that would do the job with Crossfiring?

Cheers

"Corsair PSUs... they're all outsourced and most of them aren't very good."?? wow...ok...
Anyway, regarding the PSU , i have the same one and i don't have any complains about it but for a SLI/Crossfire is out of the question. You really need to get a better PSU for it , try something above like HX/AX series.
I wouldn't change the cpu since its still a good one but just a little bit power hungry compare with to the intel side.
Going with a crossfire hf 7770 is a huge mistake however because its outdated GPU and you would be much better with trying to sell it and going for something newer like a r9 280x/285 or even a GTX 970 and for that you could keep the cx 750m

I was planning on buying new GPU's for a Crossifre setup, I know the 7770 Is fairly outdated now 😛
I'll have a look at some of the better PSU's regarding a Dual GPU setup, Thanks mate

Sorry, I didn't really provide a lot of info there, my point was that Corsair doesn't make their PSUs so you have to check who does make them + reviews before making a decision. Some of their models are good, however there is a lot of variety and even if you buy a "bad" model you may not have any problems with it but it's all up in the air. It's just a lot easier to buy a decent model from a known good manufacturer that does their own construction/research in house.

So after looking at the thread on here regarding PSU's and Tier etc
I did a little search on Amazon and came across this PSU

Corsair CP-9020073-UK Professional Platinum Series HX850i ATX/EPS 850W Power Supply Unit

It's well within my price range and according to reviews it's pretty damn good, thoughts? I imagine it would do the job of crossfiring without issue.
