[SOLVED] Upgrade Advice needed

Hey i need to do some upgrades but I'm not quite sure what to put into it currently I have an i7 7700k CPU a 1080 GPU a Corsair HX750 750W 80 Plus Platinum Power Supply a Corsair Hydro Series H105 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler and a MSI B250M Bazooka Motherboard i want to upgrade to a 3080 and new CPU i was thinking about the i7 tenth gen or maybe the new ryzen CPU should i upgrade my power supply or keep it im not sure what motherboard to buy and what should i do about my cpu any other advice regarding my pc i welcome cheers in advance

But you can't overclock CPUs on it - https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1223792-overclock-a-non-k-cpu-on-b250m-bazooka/
You'd need a Z270 mobo to do that.

yeah if i want to buy a new cpu higher then the i7 7700k i will need a new motherboard

If you want to overclock the i7 7700k then you will need a different motherboard.
You can run it on your motherboard, but you won't be able to overclock it.
