My present system is Ryzen 7 5800x Asus TUF Gaming x570 wifi, RTX 3060, and 32 gb 3200 hz ram. I have a few ssd's and an m.2. with 850 w psu.
I just bought an RTX 5060ti.
I know that the 5800x is one of the best 3d gen Ryzen gaming cpu's. Would it be a significant enough upgrade to move up to a AM5 system?
I'd probably go with the Ryzen 7 7900x or x3d, Asus ROG Strix x870-A and 32 or 64 gb 6400 hz ram.
With the new 5060ti, that should be a pretty good upgrade, but is the price worth it?
I don't play a lot of graphic intensive FPS's but I am going to play the new Oblivion Remastered.
I have Xbox Live unlimited so I'll probably be playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle as well as any other releases in the Xbox Live world. i also play Planet Coaster 2 which is pretty cpu and graphic intensive.
I also have a Meta Quest 3 which I just bought.
Will my 5800x and 3200 hz ram be enough for the new games even with the 5060ti, or should I make the jump to AM5?
