[SOLVED] Upgrade advice to 1080p ultra please

Hey,
my GPU is getting really old now and I would like to upgrade it, to be able to play most games at 1080p ultra at 144 FPS.

My setup:
CPU: i7-6700K
GPU: R9 290X Sapphire Tri-X OC
MBD: ASRock Z170 Extreme4
RAM: 16GB
PSU: beQuiet 750W Gold
Storage: 1TB WD Blue, 2TB Seagate Barracuda, 250GB Samsung EVO

I looked at the 2070 Super, 2060 Super, RX 5700XT and compared them. I'd like a GPU that I can use a few years from now on.
Do you guys have any suggestions or other GPU's I should look at?

Well if you want to jump to the most future proofed GPU then go for the one with the most features/specs which I'm guessing would be the 2070 super - if you have the budget and want RTX too. But hey that's only my opinion. ;-)

How about a rx 5700 xt? It doesn't have ray tracing but most games don't have that as an option

And games with ray tracing require a lot of gpu power and you won’t come close to 144Hz in any AAA game.

It’s a great card but at this point in time it may be a bit early for ray tracing due to the current gpu hit. The 5700xt is a better value so neither gpu is a bad choice.
