[SOLVED] upgrade advice wanted

Hi All,

As its been a few years I think its time for an upgrade, mainly MMO Gaming + Photoshop ( image merging, panoramic merging etc). I tend to find the only time my current system struggles is when using image rendering softwere for image merges etc..
Below is my current hardware setup, looking online Im guessing the makor upgrade would be the RAM, maybe up to 4MHz DDR4 stuff, the GPU. MB + CPU still look relatively current?

• Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151 Processor

The thing about PS, is that it will use everything it has access to, whether it be 4 cores or 18 cores. So even if you were to get a new board and a 9900k, the system will still be swamped unless you change core affinity to stop PS from using all the cores. 4000Mhz memory may help as well, but that's a steep $400+. The 6700k is still a fine cpu with what your running, it's pretty low on core count, but should be fine for most things.

You could spend a lot of money, upgrading and still won't notice a huge difference.
