Hi, i'm tight on budget and my current Specs are:
GTX 650 2GB
Core 2 quad q9400
Mobo: G41C-VS.
400WattPSU
8 GB RAM DDR3

I Want to upgrade my gpu to 1050TI 4 gb OR 1060 3GB (they're the same price) to have stable 60 fps on games i play like :
Gta V, R6S, For Honor, Dead By daylight, and many other games i'm gonna purchase with/after the upgrade.
Don't get me wrong with my 650 2 gb i have quite good and playable fps and on lows i get 40-50 fps but sometimes i still get difficulties playing with jumping fps so.
I Have few questions.
I've heard that my cpu will probably bottleneck but how badly?
- Will i get stable 60 fps on LOW settings in modern games on my rig with upgraded GPU 1050Ti/1060, games like:
Pubg, Battlefield 5/1, Rainbow Six, Last year, Hunt showdown and Rust and ones above?
- Will there be a difference in performance of these two GPUs if my cpu is going to bottleneck?
If so should i stick with one of these and Which one and Why?
for example differences in FPS/Performance/Quality Of course.
- Also my Monitor is really old with a VGA connector so i've read about that and i'll need a adapter VGA to HDMI, so Is it possible that i'll need anything else except that and i wonder if any problems are possible to happen with old monitor connected to a Modern GPU.

I Know this is a bad rig but i'm planning to upgrade, slowly but surely, next i'm going to upgrade mobo and CPU To some i5 to cut off the bottleneck.
I've heard that quad cores are enough for gaming tho, and the fact that i get quite good fps with my 650 really answers it lol.
Thank you for the answers and help.

Solution
I ran my current RTX 2070 Super on the x58 and i7 960 without any issues. So it can work but still had micro-stutters in BFV with medium settings. The IPC is kinda low compared to the newer cpu's.

Those GPU's most likely will not work, with your motherboard, as they require a newer UEFI bios to function. Those listed titles, your CPU is really holding you back. It is below the recommended, and in some cases, it is below minimum. What is your budget?

Sorry, in not work you mean Not show anything and there's not a chance my pc to turn on at all and is there anything i can do to get it to work?
Upgrading MOBO?
I've seen people play with worse Cpus and possible mobos with modern GPUs so i don't really know anymore.
