Upgrade core i5 to i7

Hello, i want to upgrade a core i5 processor to a core i7 in a notebook and wanted to know how much this would cost me?,

In a notebook? CPU upgrades are all but impossible for laptops. So.... cost is a new laptop with a core i7.

Start by finding a rPGA-989/988 CPU on the market.

Then you'll have to figure out if the cooling system that laptop came with can cope with the thermal output of that other CPU, if not, you'll have to find one that does and can be fitted inside the said laptop.

You might want to check if the BIOS is compatible with that CPU.
