Hi all,
I'm thinking of reviving my old gaming PC on the cheap and had a quick question about the CPU.
As my budget is pretty limited I'd like to avoid upgrading the motherboard/ram. I already have an old MSI p43 NEO3-F and 8gb of DDR2. The fastest CPU this motherboard can support is the QX9650, but they're still quite expensive on ebay so I'm looking at a Q6600.
My question is, would a Q6600 and DDR2 ram hugely bottleneck a Radeon R9 270X/280X? Baring in the mind this upgrade will cost me £150 at most.
