I want to upgrade my cpu to a e6500 but the computer won't start with it. Do I need to upgrade the BIOS or is the CPU broken? How do I upgrade the BIOS? I can't find the right chipset on foxconns page.

:BIOS Type: Phoenix-Award
BIOS Date: July 6th, 2007
BIOS ID: 07/06/2007-PT890-8237A-6A7L8FKEC-00
BIOS OEM: PT890M02 PBSANFMB.0800 070607 - PBSANFMB.0800
Chipset: VIA 82C327 rev 0
SuperIO: Unknown
Make/Model: Packard Bell BV IMEDIA D3989

What is the old CPU? A 65nm E2160? If so, then a 45nm Pentium E6500 may not be compatible.
