upgrade cpu e6500 foxconn

I want to upgrade my cpu to a e6500 but the computer won't start with it. Do I need to upgrade the BIOS or is the CPU broken? How do I upgrade the BIOS? I can't find the right chipset on foxconns page.

I can't find a newer Bios version.
The cpu should be supported, but I can't find any newer bios version.
So maybe you've a bad luck, or the cpu is dead.

What is the old CPU? A 65nm E2160? If so, then a 45nm Pentium E6500 may not be compatible.

It's with an '*', I haven't found what they mean by it tho.

I presume the BIOS is specific to Packard Bell; PBSANFMB probably means Packard Bell San Francisco Motherboard.
