I am getting this, as Tim "The Toolman" Taylor would say - NEED MORE POWER bug

Thinking about upgrading MOBO and CPU
CPU: i9-9900k (upgrade cooler as well to an AIO)
MOBO: MEG Z390 Godlike or ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero

Do you think that would help with OCing #'s? or is it not worth it right now? Or is there a better CPU/MOBO that I havent listed to upgrade to?

Thanks all!

PS prob give my old parts to a friend who is looking to upgrade.

Solution
a better cpu and mobo wont improve your gpu overclock.

thats an actually pretty impressive overclock, you probably wont reach much higher without special cooling though.

also, if you wanted a better, cheaper upgrade path
either swap motherboard and go amd (ryzen 7 3700X is around the same as a 9900k but is significantly cheaper)

or get a 9700F or kf, as theyre an okay value.
