[SOLVED] Upgrade CPU or Memory (RAM)?

So my current build is a Ryzen 3 1300x cpu, ASUS STRIX OC RX 570 gpu, 8gb DDR4 2400mhz Memory and ASUS Prime B350M-E motherboard. I mainly game and video edit/GFX. I pretty much just play Overwatch and a bit of Apex Legends. My question (as the title says) is which would better a better upgrade? I have about $160

Is your 8GB 2x4GB or 1x8GB? Do you have a 1TB SSD?

Ryzen likes when memory sticks have high frequency and when sticks are in dual channel. However getting Ryzen 7 1700 instead of your Ryzen 3 would be more efficiently, so answering your question - upgrade CPU first!

Buy a two DIMM matched set of RAM and get a 500 GB SSD. Those two things will improve OVERALL performance most.
