Build Advice Upgrade current system advice

This is my current system:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
• MOBO: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX
• GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX5700
• RAM: G.Skill DDR4 Trident-Z 2x8GB 3200Mhz CL16 Black/White
• STORAGE:
  • Seagate HDD 3.5" 1TB ST1000DM010 BarraCuda
  • Some 240GB SSD
  • Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NvMe M.2
• PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550W PSU

I’m looking to upgrade, nothing specific (although I am leaning towards a better cpu), just seeing what I can get without introducing major bottlenecks.

My budget is €500-1000 (doesn’t matter what end of the spectrum you pick) and I’m from The Netherlands. And I’m using a 1440p monitor.

the RX5700 is still ok for 1080p medium gaming.
I would suggest the 5800X3D. the best cpu for the platform.
