Question Upgrade current system for VR

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I have been active on here, my last post was about checking the system I am currently using.
I would like your vision on upgrading my current system to run a HTC Vive ( not the PRO one ) smoothly.

I have been playing around with partpicker, but for now i ended up only changing the GPU (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/w6vRdX)

Would upgrading just the GPU be sufficiënt to run VR smoothly?
Are there any other things i should change? (e.g. upgrading RAM?)

Also, according to part picker, my PSU should be ok, but can I blindly trust this?

You will be fine, VR is not super demanding and 2070 is more than capable. The other thing would be the system memory, 16Gb would be ideal these days.

So just to be clear, i don't have to worry about changing out my PSU?

Edit:

I just checked Gigabyte's website, and they recommend a 550W PSU.
My current PSU is also 550W. Does this mean i'm good, or does the card (excluding CPU, HDD etc) require 550W by itself?

I'm pretty stupid, i just compared my current GPU with the 2070, and appearantly my current one requires 600W, which runs fine. So i guess i have no more questions
