Hello. I bought a second hand desktop PC, builded in December 2015 according the documents I obtained from the seller who is a well known person for me. He sold it to me for about 200$.

It is:
OS: windows 10 x64
CPU: AMD FX-8350
Motherboard: ASRock 880GM-LE FX with incorporated GPU Radeon HD 4250
RAM: 1 x Transcend 8GB DDR3-1600
HDD: 1TB
CPU fan - DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 200
Please look the photo> https://s23.postimg.org/ware1jjcb/125125.jpg

Sadly I can't buy a new PC at the moment and of course I don’t want poor spending of money.

At the moment I use it only for web and Youtube, but I want to upgrade it for games, sometimes online rpg games.
The CPU fan are never quiet; I think I need something fresher.
And I think is good to add more RAM, I think another plate of 8GB and the most important a good GPU. Maybe a SSD? What about overclocking the CPU?
What else you can recommend? Thank you!

ram yes. and no. for gaming you dont need tons of ram. but dual channel ram is fast. it will allow you to have better performance with programs in the background, and slightly faster in games.

its a good idea to get a new gpu for sure. but whatever gpu you get make sure your psu can handle it. and if it cant, try to get a new one. they arent terribly expensive. amd is coming out with there new gpus "vega" so keep tabs on that but if you want to get something now, their rx480 and 470(x) are pretty good. the 1gtx 1060 is also a decent card. if you need a new psu you might not need more than 450-550 watts

before upgrading the cpu try to get a better cooler. a good cheep one is the hypert12 evo by cooler master. i can...

before upgrading the cpu try to get a better cooler. a good cheep one is the hypert12 evo by cooler master. i can personally say this cooler is a great price to performance, and i can even overclock my processor a decent amount. make sure the cpu you have is "unlocked" or overclockable, and the motherboard can also allow it/support it. if you realy want to extensivley overclock your cpu, and you can. look into some AIO watercoolers. like the h100i.

make sure you have decent airflow. (look at youtube vids for good airflow techniques). try to get some fans to help keep it all cool. you can get a 4 pack of fans on amazon for about 15 bucks.

ssds are nice. but uneccasary. you can get cheap $45 120 gig ssd for booting, but if your okay with longer boot times, with that price you can get a 1tb wd blue, for more storage. but its alright if you want to do it. if i could afford it, id do it. but, i personally, would rather put that money into a better cpu or cooler.

Azetix thank you very much for your valuable help!
I want to add that the psu is Spire EE-ATX-500W-IR and the HDD is WD Green 1TB.

Before I started this thread I read here about good fans for FX8350 and most people recommended CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO or CRYORIG H7. The problem is that they are not in the stock in my Eastern European country now... There are a lot of other fans by Zalman, Deepcool, XILENCE, Cooler Thermaltake, Spire, GLACIALTECH... I want something good as Hyper 212 EVO or CRYORIG H7 and not expensive. I want to overclock my processor not extensively, but from 4,0 Ghz to 4,5 Ghz. Yes the CPU is "unlocked".
Maybe someone know other good fans (not water-coolers) for FX8350?

About GPU thank you I would look for GTX 1060 or RX 480 or maybe will wait for AMD Vega, at least to see the price =)) he he… I want to keep this motherboard, not to pay for another one.

About decent airflow, can you please give the link on Youtube about good airflow techniques or fans on amazon?
And about SSD and RAM, ok no SSD and RAM anymore, the cpu fan and the gpu are now in the top of the wishlist.

Of course I understand that this cpu is old enough, even it is now the top of AMD CPUs and i5 or i7 are far better than FX8350…I want to upgrade what I have, but I don’t want poor spending of money.
Thank you!
