Upgrade for better gaming performance

specs :
power supply: will throw out, need one of those
gpu : hd7870 xfx
pcu: amd athlon x4 760k
mobo: msi a78m-e35
hdd: 500gb western blue
ram: 2x 4gb corsair

-need something in their price range with good lifetime
-and if someone knows if my pcu is bottle necking my gpu or vice-verca

Your CPU will most likely cause a bottleneck. I would upgrade to an intel i3 or i5 depending on your budget and get a haswell CPU as there isn't a massive performance gap to the new skylake processors plus you won't have to buy new RAM. Then I'd get a good 500W power supply and either a GTX960/950 or an AMD R9 380!
