Upgrade for GTX 570

Hey all,

Like the title says I'm thinking about upgrading my card. I currently have a gtx 570. More specifically it's the EVGA gtx 570 SC with 1.2 gb gddr5.

It runs well and I get pretty good performance in most games but I was thinking about upgrading to something a little stronger. I'd at least like to be on par with next gen consoles.

Is there a gpu that will knock up my performance without breaking me? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There is a general rule for upgrade that you should atleast go 3 tiers above ur current tier to see a considerable performance increase. In ur case u should atleast go to GTX770

I live in the United States and i'm not completely committed to a specific price range but I wont take any recommendations for GTX titans or 690's seriously.

As for the tier upgrade, do you think I'd get any noticable difference from a 760?

Here's a HD 7970. It has similar performance to the GTX 770 and is cheaper. furthermore , it comes with 3 free games
