Hi all.

OK, I used to be a hardcore gamer but don't have as much time to play anymore due to working so much. My computer is fairly old but still works very well for my needs. I don't really plan on building a new one any time soon but thought I might give it a few upgrades. I have recently noticed my RAM usage exceeding 7 gigs and I have only 8 gigs in my system, so I am thinking of maybe doubling that.

I also thought about looking into a new GPU but I don't know what's good anymore, etc.

I mostly play Path of Exile, and the FPS is good, never really dropping into unplayable territory but definitely not maintaining 50 to 60 fps at all times.

I have also bought Kingdom Come: Deliverance, but have not even touched it yet since I don't have time to get lost. lol

My system is i5 3570k overclocked to 4.2, since I have had it. Perfectly and permanently stable. 8 gigs Kingston HyperX Fury Black 1600. CL10. ASRock Z77 Extreme4, R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5/OC 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16, Earthwatts 750watt PSU (Antec EarthWatts Series EA-750 Green 750W) (Output+3.3V@25A, +5V@25A, +12V1@40A, +12V2@40A, +12V3@40A, +12V4@40A, -12V@0.5A, +5VSB@3.0A ) Win 7 Pro x64, still. (I also have Win8, and 8.1 but had some driver issues and went back to 7. I also have 10 but have not messed with it since my comp works fine like it is.) Samsung 840 Pro SSD and Hitachi Ultrastar 2TB. And using an LG-paneled Korean monitor, 27" 1440p, same panel used in Apple Thunderbolt.

So... Need to know what's a good, and noticeable upgrade that is inexpensive. I see a PowerColor RX580 OC, 8gig for $190. It's a 256-bit bus compared to 384 but 2304 stream compared to 1792 and a higher clock speed i'm sure. 1350 boost?

( Don't mind nVidia either since I have had so much trouble with AMD, not to mention lots of trouble with MSI. I got this 7950 as an RMA after my 7870 Hawk was replaced, and the replacement they sent me had a heatsink that was not even tightened... so it ran hot before I noticed what was wrong with it - the screws were completely loose. They tried to give me like $100 or so but I refused it, and they sent me the 7950. After a while, the fans/bearings on the 7950 died and I had to replace the fans on it, so it has fairly new fans.)

Anyhow, thanks in advance for your help, knowledge, and expertise.
