Upgrade for my pc

I have a hp 280 g2 mt business pc with i7-6700k 3.4 GHz processor and 16 GB of ram (8*2) dual channel And I want to upgrade it with a gtx 1070 ti or 1070 and a psu of 550 watts should I proceed or should I upgrade it with a 1060 6 GB, I already have a 1050 ti and a 400 watt psu.

That 400W PSU you have now must be an after-market one? If so, there's no reason not to upgrade again if you want the faster gfx card. The i7-6700K can handle the GTX 1070/1070 Ti.

Sorry I have PCI 16 X 2.0 slot so is it able to run gtx 1070 ti?

Your CPU is fine for either the 1070 or the 1060, what you get depends on your budget and what exactly you want the system to be able to do.

Get either the GTX 1060 or the GTX 1070. But upgrade the PSU first. If this is your PSU, it has a rather anemic +12V rail. It would be marginal for the GTX 1060.

Your CPU is fine for either the 1070 or the 1060, what you get depends on your budget and what exactly you want the system to be able to do.
