Upgrade from 16GB to 32GB

I have motherboard: asus maximus x hero, cpu: 8700k and ram: Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16R Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16.
Can i buy another the same ram 16GB 2x8GB to make it 32GB? I know that, its suppose to be work if the ram is exactly the same... but i have my fears, because i did something like this before with another pc and ram and it didn't work. I was had problems with blue screens and i didn't find a solution. That why am asking if i did this i need to know its going to be work.

I have had 95% success with buying exactly the same RAM and having it work in my systems. The one that didn't was a laptop years ago that just didn't get along with both sticks.

It’s not guaranteed to work but usually ok. I had issues with some DDR3 of exact same model.

Do you actually need 32GB for anything though? Games won't likely benefit from having more than 16GB for a number of years still.

So it's better to buy another ram 2x16GB right? Yes i know games won't need so much ram, i just want to make my pc beast to last for several years.
