Upgrade from 6700k to 8700k?

Should I upgrade to a 8700k from my i7 6700k or nah? I don't mind spending the 600 bucks to upgrade to something better.

Gaming,Streaming also maybe some editing, My specs are SLI 1070s, I7 6700k, Gigabyte Gaming 7 Mobo, 32GB of Corsair Ram

Vast majority of games depends more on GPU than on CPU.
I7 6700k to I7 8700k will have certain impact on very few games and the impact is not huge.
The money is not effectively spent here actually.

2x 1070s? I would avoid multiple GPUs actually. A single GTX1080Ti fits better than having 2 GTX1070s...but you have these 2 already...

Yeah when I bought 1070s the 1080ti wasn't out yet :/

Thanks for the specs. Which monitor do you use and what is the resolution and refresh rate on it?

2k, ~144hz and also a 4k ~ 60hz monitor

For that kind of resolution, maybe you already have the best solution in budget. For you, an upgrade worth an upgrade would be 1080ti in SLI, I think which is way out of 600 USD budget, I am afraid.
