Hello, I am thinking to upgrade my display card for a while, but I still doesn't have any clues yet. I am using Geforce 9800 GTX now and I am very satisfy with it. "DX11" is the only reason to make me think about that.

Could anyone give me some ideas of which card I should look at it? I don't mind to have about same performance. I would more concern on budget. That also will be great if produce less heat.

Thanks!

for game. That's why I am looking for dx11 support card.

I keep looking at internet, I know Geforce 400/500 series support dx11. But I am not quite sure which model should be the good one. Is that all 400 series above support dx11? I am not quite sure though.

Thanks.

If you are buying a new GPU, you should always get one in the newest series imo. In this case it will be GTX 7xx or AMD R7 xxx / R9 xxx. If you want to save money, you should get a budget GPU from these series.

What is your budget?

If you you are going Nvidia (since you had it before) and you are low on budget, GTX 560 (or 560 Ti) is a decent GPU. If you have money, you can try 700 series.
Just remember, if you are looking for gaming, only buy ones that start with GTX. Those only GT are fairly weak, despite dx11.

If you want to go ATI/AMD HD 68xx series is pretty good, with a fairly low price.

Also, try using this site: www.hwcompare.com/category/gpu/

You can compare GPUs and see which one is better (in theory at least).

Thank you all. I get some ideas now.

I stick with geforce for many years, but what's the difference between ATI? game compatible?
