I'm going to upgrade my motherboard from sabertooth z77.
I use most of my time gaming and the motherboard needs to support high-end graphic cards, 5.1 speaker and 2K monitor.
any suggestion?

Thanks.

Why not upgrade to a Z87 Sabretooth? It has the usual Asus high quality componenets, as well as being a rock solid Sabretooth board (as I'm sure your aware of).
I guess it really depends on your budget. If you want to pay the price for an excellent mid/upper range board, the Sabretooth is one of my favorites.

That's assuming your upgrading to an 1150 CPU. If not then I would be curious to hear why you want to upgrade from such a good motherboard?

It's actually the one I'm considering, just want to know if the is any other good motherboards (others experience, etc..)

Long story to short; making a ''music station'' with my current processor and motherboard, so I need a new motherboard and processor.

That's actually my favorite z87 board in that price range. If your wanting a "music-centric" build then you will probably want a discrete sound card.
If you wanted the best on-board sound I would choose this motherboard...

Its a little pricey but its on-board sound can rival a good discrete sound card. The audio chipset is physically separated from the rest of the motherboard as well as being EMI shielded. It even uses its own separated ground. Its a brilliant design.
