Hi there! I have a Dell laptop with the following processor: Intel Celeron CPU N2830 @ 2.16GHz. is it upgradeable? what would be my best option for the upgrade? Thanks!

Solution
the n2830 is ivy bridge architecture so its not a bad 2 core 2 thread processor even by todays standards. it should handle basic duty tasks without much issue. if you feel you are having performance issues then i would either do a windows optimization or back up all your precious data and do a clean reinstall then optimize. if you dont have any more than 120gb to 250gb of data then putting a $50-90 ssd in the laptop can dramatically boost its perceived performance in basic apps also.
well you will be able to upgrade, but i highly dought you will be able to by a cpu that has the BGA1170 socket, which i have never heard of before.
if you play games your best option to upgrade will be to get a better graphics card
