Hi all,
My current rig:
Asus Maximius VI Hero i7 - 4770K CPU @3.50GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 770
Dual Monitors
1TB Samsung SSD
12 GB Ram.

I know everything is pretty ancient however my heavy gaming days are over.
The reason why I'm looking to change the GPU is that it keeps fails when I'm performing day-to-day tasks (Opening Outlook, A new tab in any browser, etc)

So I'm looking for a new GPU within a £200- £300 budget that I can play ESO and Elite Dangerous on.

Any suggestions ?
Thank you

Everything still works in the background when I get a black screen.
Done a stress test on everything and the only one that fails is the GPU.
PSU is a Corsair TX850M I would say 6 years?

I would suggest you try the GPU in another system to make sure it is in fact the issue. Maybe even reapplying thermal paste if it gets too hot. It costs next to nothing to do it if you are already willing to spend money, it's the best cheap option.

As for recommendations, the best bang for your buck would be 6650 XT from a bit below of £300 to a bit above.

I would suggest that you should swap the PSU to a newer model in the next upgrade as they do degrade with time. Your PSU is a good one, don't get me wrong but it's always safer to buy a new one after 5-7 years if you have a quality one and much much sooner if you have a crappy one (or even better, don't buy a crappy one).
