Upgrade from gtx 660 to 780 and bottleneck question

I currently have a gtx 660 and I'm planing to get the 780 very soon.
Is it worth the upgrade?
And, will my CPU bottle neck the 770? My CPU is the AMD Phenom II x6 1055t. And even if there is a bottleneck would it be small and unnoticeable?

There will be a bottleneck but I'm not sure how noticeable it would be, either way I would recommended getting a new cpu just to make sure. High end i3 or low end i5 would work fine.

You are already at the max end of that cpu. Especially if not overclocked.

I suggest a 8320 if your mobo supports it + a gtx 770.

Bottleneck won't be noticeable it will be minimal. Why not SLI the 660 instead? You'll basically have a titan if you do so unless you play a lot of games that don't support SLI (most do now)

You can unselect it if you didn't mean to choose a solution(or someone else chose it... pretty annoying when they do that in my threads).
Anyway, SLI is a good option if you have the compatible power supply and motherboard(Which I'm guessing you don't, as you planned not to do SLI). As for the microstuttering, AFAIK the issue was fixed by NVIDIA. just get the latest drivers for your 780.
To check for a bottleneck in case of a CPU, just lower the quality to the minimum possible settings graphics wise(such as resolution, texture filtering, AA, AF, you get the idea). That is the maximum FPS your CPU can handle. Depending on the game, if it is very GPU intensive, the FPS may reduce when you increase the settings again.
If the FPS you're getting is acceptable to you, get the new card. Otherwise, first upgrade your CPU. The 660 should last you for such a time as you're ready to upgrade your GPU.
