My Current CPU is i5-750, pretty old one but a very decent one as well.
A friend of mine is selling his i5-3470 for 55 dollars and I am curious to know if there's a point in upgrading my current CPU.
I've checked some comparisons, and the differences between the 2 CPU aren't big at all.
Example

What will you suggest guys?

Cheers.

The i5 that your friend is selling has a base increase of .6Ghz which is a fairly nice speed boost although second hand PC parts are always a dodgy territory. For example if it was to break showing proof of purchase will be hard and there is no guarantee that it will last for more than a few months.
In my opinion I think you should save your money and get a new one that is guaranteed to work + the warranty you get on it as well.
