Upgrade from Intel HD 4000 graphics to any better graphics card (IN LAPTOP).

I want to know if I can upgrade the graphics card in my laptop. My laptop is the Dell Inspiron 14r (newest version). If I can, I would like any well-performance and budget graphics card for gaming. The game I`m willing to buy is Crysis 3.

Intel HD4000 isn't a card, it's part of the processor, it cannot be replaced. In laptops you're pretty much stuck with whatever graphics card/solution came with the laptop in the first place. The very few that have replaceable graphics cards are very limited in what they can be upgraded to.

It's an option, but you normally can't upgrade graphics (especially integrated ones) on laptops.

it is rare to see laptops that you can replace the gpu with.
for those upgrades, get a desktop instead.

and besides, even if you could, it will most likely be expensive, let alone be incompatible with what you have. or probably be too big or will produce too much heat.

and crysis3 is heavy

Sorry but you will not be able to upgrade the GPU or play Crysis 3 on that laptop.

Define "Cheap" to you? Most "Gaming" laptops are usually around $600-800 on the lower side.

But you can upgrade the cpu to a cpu with better intel graphics
