Current PC specs:
Motherboard: Asrock 970 Pro3 R2.0
CPU: Phenom II 965 BE
CPU Cooler: Liquid H55 Corsair
Ram: 8GB
Graphics: GTX 1050 TI 4GB
PSU: 650W Corsair
SSD: 240GB Kingston HDD 1TB Samsung

I would like to say in advance that I am not considering or planning to overclock anything as I am extremely scared of it due to a bad past experience... So everything that I am talking about is at clock speed.

I am also considering this upgrade because I started to notice that some games for example Far Cry V might not provide support for Phenom any longer.

My question is:
*About how much fps increase will I have in games? For example Starcraft II or Overwatch.
*Will my motherboard be good with this FX CPU?
*Will my H55 liquid be good enough for FX?
*Another question that bothers me is will FX use more electricity than it is stated? I just heard that even though it states that it runs at 125w (same as 965) while in games it might use much more.
Also what is your general opinion about this upgrade?

Thanks to everyone in advance.

The watt efficiency on FX processors are horrible but it should be a decent upgrade in performance. Also your motherboard is fine with the CPU.
