Upgrade from PII 400 to...?

Ive got an ASUS P2B-F mobo, and Im looking to upgrade to a PIII 600 or higher. I have a Slot 1 processer, and i want the fastest I can fit in my system.

You should be able to go to 1 Ghz if this is your board. Check for a bios update..

Well, Most of the PIII's above 700mhz seem to be coppermine, and my chipsets 440BX. Dont I need a mobo with a coppermine chipset?

your mobo has a 8x multiplier so it should be able to run at P3 800 slot 1 cpu. It also has many features for overclocking too
