Upgrade from R9 270 to GTX 960 worth it?

I currently have a Sapphire R9 270 and am not satisfied with the performance with it. In BF4 I get average 30FPS on medium (1080P) with dips into the low 20's even with a massive OC, and similar in many other games and I was wondering if an upgrade to an 960 would be worth the $200 price point. If not, would you recommend a card around $200 bucks? Thanks.

Solution
You are looking a fairly marginal difference, 15-20% at best.
I would save up a bit more cash and look into at least a 970 class card. (970, 290, 290x)

The GTX 960 is a 128 bit card, may be good for 1080p now. but its not a future proof one.

If you're going to upgrade immediately, consider this:

Currently, the MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB is priced $181.79

While, the beefy MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB TWIN FROZR 384 BIT priced $188.98 [Great deal!]

If not, save your money:

- Get a 290 / 290X or even better wait & get any one of the new R9 300 Series expected to be released in June 2015.

Cheers!

Get a gtx 770 or r9 280x if you really are on a budget. but I would suggest you saving up a little more money and getting a 970 or something. Right now, the graphics card prices haven't shifted yet, and the newest games have just been released. So I would say hang on for a few months, so you can at least take a look at what is out and so you can get a card for less.
