Upgrade from release preview to windows 8

Hello, I did a clean install after formating my drive. I now have release preview installed. The motherboard came out of a different case and i have no windows disks to reinstall. Can i upgrade from the release preview?

I think don't any of the previews allow for upgrading to the retail version. Best to do a clean install, otherwise you're left with a large number of files and folders from the previous install that are a pain to delete.

No...you NEED A PAID operating system to upgrade on the disc....

XP or VISTA or 7
