so my cousins pc is unable to play battlefield 1 and many other newer games. he has a 550ti which I believe is the reason why. I am getting him some more ram and a ssd but need to know a gpu capable of running these games(don't have to be high settings. low/medium will do) and is less than £130. He also has a i5 2320 which despite its age I do not believe is the problem

any help appreciated
thanks

RX 460. Simple answer the RX 460 will run it well and that will give you money to spend on more ram. Also how much ram do you have right now? Anything more then 8gb for the basic gaming build is unnecessary. Also an SSD is really not needed if you don't have much money to spend.

given the age of his computer I thought a ssd would definitely help. also he only had 4gb so I changed it to 8gb hyper x ram

I agree with Ace. The RX 460 is the best card you can put in your rig for the price.

(Plus, even if you could buy an RX 470 or other higher end card, that i5 would bottleneck it...)

Yes. Techy is right also the RX 470 would bottleneck the i5 and a SSD has nothing to do with performance other then how A: Windows boots up faster. And B: If you put games on it they will boot faster. It has nothing to do with performance in games.
