When I purchased my Asus GU603 laptops they came with Windows 11 Home. I was told that I can't upgrade to Windows 11 Pro without purchasing a new key from the microsoft store. I have older key codes for Windows 10 pro can these be used to upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro??

Well, as we all wish you could do this.
Frankly, no you can’t use older codes from windows 10 since they aren’t the same os.

you’ll have to buy a new license for windows 11 pro.

hopefully that helps.

I specifically changed a Win 10 Home install to a Win 10 Pro, using an otherwise unused Win 8 Pro license.

MS has been quite benevolent using licenses from Win 7 and later, for Win 10 and 11.

Try it.
If it works, great.
If it fails, then you buy a valid Win 11 license.

Not Windows 11, but on a store purchased Windows 7 Pro computer I once completely changed everything except the case, new motherboard, new CPU, new boot drive, which was an M.2 SSD instead of a SATA hard drive. I installed Windows 10 home and then plugged in the key afterwards. To my surprise it not only accepted the key but also automatically changed to Windows 10 Pro. I thought the key wouldn't even work on anything except the orignial hardware since it was a prefabricated store bought computer.
